Who we are

Authorsrip Tree Service is a referral service. We help homeowners in Leesburg and the Leesburg area reach independent tree removal providers. That is the whole job.

We do not own trucks. We do not climb, cut, or haul. Providers in our network do all of that.

Why we exist

Hiring for tree work is stressful the first time. The words are new. Stump grinding, crown reduction, rigging, chip and haul. Prices vary a lot. Many people do not know what to ask.

So we wrote this site for first-timers. We explain the steps in plain words. Then we help you reach a provider who can take it from there.

How providers are matched

You tell us what is going on. A downed tree, a dead one, a limb over the roof. We use your location and the type of job to point you to a provider who works in your area.

The provider contacts you or answers your call. You talk about the job. The provider gives you a quote. You decide.

What we expect from providers

We ask providers in our network to do a few simple things:

• Be clear about the scope and the price in writing.
• Hold any license or permit your local rules require.
• Carry insurance, and be ready to show proof when asked.
• Treat your property with care.
• Answer your questions in plain words.

Still, you should check these things yourself. Ask. Get it in writing.

What we do not do

This part matters, so here it is straight.

• We do not perform tree work.
• We do not set provider prices.
• We do not promise a result, a price, or an arrival time.
• We do not make insurance decisions. Some policies may cover sudden damage from a fallen tree. Check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

The contract is between you and the provider. We are not part of it.

How we are paid

Homeowners pay us nothing to make a request. Providers in our network may pay for referrals and calls we send their way. That is how this site runs.

It does not change what you owe the provider. You still pay the provider for the work, at the price in your written quote.
